Paris Moda Haftası’nda Christian Dior’un yeni kreatif direktörü Jonathan Anderson’ın ilk koleksiyonu kadar defilenin kulis arkası da dikkat çekiciydi.

Defile öncesinde makyaj direktörü Peter Philips’in hedefi açıktı: modellerin “en iyi halleriyle ama neredeyse makyajsız gibi” görünmesi. Bu sade yaklaşım koleksiyonda, dikkat çeken fiyonklar, yeniden yorumlanan New Look ceketler ve kravat detaylarının öne çıkmasını sağladı.

Ciltler doğal, dudaklar nötr, makyaj ise neredeyse yok gibiydi. Her modelin yüzü kendi hatlarını vurgulayacak şekilde özenle hazırlandı. Bu yaklaşım defilenin genel havasıyla da uyumluydu: iddialı, kontrollü ve etkileyici.

Açılışta gösterilen filmde yer alan “Do you dare enter the house of Dior?” sorusu, sahne arkasında da yankı buldu. Anderson’ın yorumu, geçmişe saygı duyan ama bugüne ait referanslarla dolu bir zarafet anlayışı sundu.
